Welcome to the I.T. Department

The Information Technology department takes care of all computer systems, as well as telephones, copiers, routers, printers, cell phones, 1650 A.M. Emergency Advisory Radio Station, the local municipal cable television channel, as well as the Police, Fire department, Golf course, Land Fill, and the DPW computers and technologies. The City web site is currently maintained by the I.T. staff along with several other departments. The Informational Technology department also investigates all technologies, to optimize the cities work efficiency, as well as keeping the city up to date on current trends, all the while preparing for the future in the information age. |

| Digital TV Transition
|
In February of 2009, you will no longer be able to watch TV, unless you go digital.
With digital television, you can count on pictures to be sharper, colors deeper and "ghosts" and interference are eliminated.
Michigan citizens who rely on over-the-air television signals will need to take one of three steps before Feb. 17, 2009 to continue to be able to view local television stations.
