2006-07 City of Riverview Tree Replacement Information
During the fall of 2006 and the spring of 2007, the City of Riverview, utilizing both City and State grant funds, will be replacing municipal trees lost to the Emerald Ash Borer. With professional assistance, tree species and locations will be selected based on various factors such as current street tree population, site availablity, time of year, and cost effectiveness. If residents desire to plant trees on their own, information is available at City Hall, the Library, or the DPW regarding ordinance compliance, undesirable tree species, and recommended species. Any costs incurred by the property are not eligible for reimbursement.
