Yard Waste Pickup is From April 1st to December 1st each year.
Yard Waste is the waste materials from the usual routine yard maintenance, including grass clippings, leaves, brush or tree trimmings less than 4 feet in length and 2 inches in diameter, shrubbery, and vegetable or other garden debris. This does not include tree stumps or Christmas trees.
All yard waste must be placed in one of the the two listed containers:
Yard waste paper bags
32 gallon or less container with a Yard Waste sticker attached and clearly visible.
Yard waste placed in plastic bags will not be collected.
Place yard waste at least 10 feet from your rubbish OR on the opposite side of your driveway.
If you need to dispose of yard waste between December 1 and April 1,you can take it to the Riverview Land Preserve. Please call 734.281.4263 for details and hours of operation.
