 April 13, 2020 Public Hearing
In accordance with Governor Whitmer's Executive Order No. 2020-15, the Riverview City Council will be holding a special public hearing to discuss the creation of a Public Safety Special Assessment District to fund improved Fire and Advanced Life Support services to its residents.

It is anticipated that the special assessment
levy will offset an expiring sewer debt judgment levy millage with no net increase in taxes.

All Riverview municipal buildings are closed to the general public as of 5:00pm, Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice. More information is available under Latest News elsewhere on this web page.
Property and building inspections are postponed.
The City will reschedule inspections when operations restart. We hope our regard for the inspectors and your safety is welcomed.

Annual Audit Report

Each year, the City of Riverview issues financial statements that have been audited by an independent auditing firm, as required by the State of Michigan. Included in the financial statements is the Management Discussion & Analysis, which is a narrative that summarizes the activity that took place in the City during the year and the effect it had on the City's finances.

For fiscal year 2016/17, the City has again received an unqualified opinion. An unqualified opinion means that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the City's funds as of June 30, 2017, and conform with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.
