The City of Riverview maintains approximately 35.59 miles of major and local streets.  The City receives revenues from the State of Michigan on a monthly basis in accordance with Public Act 51 of 1951 to support the maintanance of these streets and associated right-of-ways.  These revenues can also be utilized for snow removal, traffic signals, street signs and new street construction.

Major roads, such as Fort Street, Pennsylvania Road, Sibley Road and King Road, are maintained by Wayne County.
