VOTER REGISTRATION
You may register to vote if:
1. You are a United States Citizen 2. You are 18 years of age by election day 3. You are a resident of Riverview for at least 30 days prior to the election.
You may register to vote in federal, state, local and school elections at the Riverview Clerks Office, 14100 Civic Park Drive, or any of the 180 Michigan Secretary of State branch offices. Whenever you move to a new city, you must re-register to vote there. If you move within the City of Riverview you need not re-register, but only update your address at the Clerks office, any Secretary of State branch office, or at the polls on election day. If you have changed your name through marriage, divorce, etc., you do need to re-register to vote. Call us to check the status of your registration.

Absentee Voter Ballots
You are eligible for an absentee ballot if you:
* Are 60 years of age or older. * Are physically unable to attend the polls without assistance of another.
* Are appointed as a precinct worker in a precinct other than your own.
* Expect to be absent from the community in which you are registered on election day.
* Cannot attend the polls because of the tenets of your religion. * Cannot attend the polls because you are confined to jail awaiting arraignment or trial.
