NON-RESIDENT BOAT RAMP PERMITS FOR 2023
TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2023 - DOORS WILL OPEN TO BLDG AT 8:00 AM PROCESSING BEGINS AT 9:00 AM
As the Covid Restrictions have been lifted, the main door will open for the sale of boat ramp permits to non-residents at 8:00 AM and we will start processing at 9:00 AM. Please have your current driver's license and vehicle registration that pulls the boat with you along with a $200 check made out to "City of Riverview", cash or credit card (3% credit card processing fee).
Driver's License and the tow vehicle's (car or truck) current registration is required--no exceptions!!!!
One permit per customer.
BOAT RAMP ANNUAL PERMIT FOR NON-RESIDENT IS $200.
ORDINANCE 665 - AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF RIVERVIEW BY THE REPEAL AND READOPTION OF SECTION 78-52 OF ARTICLE II "BOAT RAMPS" AND THE ADDITION OF SUBSECTION (F), IN CHAPTER 78 "WATERWAYS", TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF BOAT RAMP PERMITS FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES.
RIVERVIEW BOAT RAMP
The 2023 Boat Ramp Permits will be for sale to Residents and Riverview Business Owners on December 15, 2022 and
Each Resident Household may purchase 2 permits, but they must be assigned to 2 different registered vehicles at same address at the time they are issued - they are non-transferable. OFFENDERS WILL BE TICKETED.
Riverview Commercial Business Owners: $25.00
May purchase one (1) sticker per business owned with business license and taxes current.
Non-Resident: $200.00 - Only fifty (50) Non-resident passes will be available STARTING JANUARY 3, 2023.
Replacement Fee: $5.00 - IN THE CASE OF A BROKEN WINDSHIELD OR A NEW VEHICLE PURCHASE, ETC., A REPLACEMENT PERMIT STICKER MAY BE OBTAINED.
REQUIREMENTS: All residents and non-residents must have:
A Valid Drivers License with a Valid Vehicle Registration (ADDRESS MUST BE THE SAME ON BOTH) on the TOW VEHICLE that will be parked at the Boat Ramp (not on the boat or on the trailer)
PLACEMENT OF STICKER:
THE STICKER MUST BE ADHERED TO THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDSHIELD ON THE LOWER INSIDE CORNER TO BE VALID.
