PUBLIC INPUT MEETINGS &
PUBLIC SURVEY
 
Notice is hereby given that the County of Wayne is in the process of drafting its Consolidated Plan 2021-2025 that covers all of Wayne County’s U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs and its subrecipient communities.
 
The Consolidated Plan 2021-2025 will assess the County’s affordable housing needs and the existing housing market.  This community engagement effort will assist in developing market driven and place-based decisions that are geared towards improving the living situations of the County’s low- and moderate-income residents. 
 
As a part of this planning effort, meaningful public engagement is required.  To achieve this necessary input, two public meetings via ZOOM and a survey have been planned:
 
Public Meetings – Thursday February 25th at 3 PM and 7 PM

Consolidated Plan Survey – Monday Feb. 8th through Monday Mar. 1st
For those without easy internet access, surveys will be available at each of the City Halls of all of the non-entitlement communities.  Surveys are also online at:
